Yamazen Corporation revised consolidated earnings guidance for the six months ending September 30, 2026 and fiscal year ending March 31, 2027. For the six months ending September 30, 2026, the company now expected net sales of JPY 290,000 million, operating profit of JPY 7,000 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 4,600 million and basic earnings per share of JPY 52.45 as previously announced forecast net sales of JPY 275,000 million, operating profit of JPY 5,400 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 3,600 million and basic earnings per share of JPY 40.91. For the fiscal year, the company now expect net sales of JPY 585,000 million, operating profit of JPY 15,000 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 10,000 million and basic earnings per share of JPY 115.92 as compared to previously forecast net sales of JPY 570,000 million, operating profit of JPY 13,300 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 9,000 million and basic earnings per share of JPY 104.55.?? Reason for revision: Regarding the consolidated financial performance for the second quarter (interim) of the fiscal year ending March 2027, in the Production Equipment Business, demand from industries such as semiconductors/AI, data centers, aerospace, shipbuilding, and defense has been stronger than the Company had anticipated, and the Company's orders are also expected to remain at levels consistent with such demand. As a result, net sales, operating profit, ordinary profit, and profit attributable to owners of parent for the interim period are expected to exceed the previously announced forecasts, and therefore the Company is revising the consolidated earnings forecasts for the second quarter (interim) of the fiscal year ending March 2027, as stated above. Regarding the consolidated earnings forecasts for the full fiscal year ending March 2027, it is still necessary to carefully assess market trends and changes in the external environment from the third quarter onward. Therefore, at this time, the revision to net sales is limited to the second quarter (interim) level. Based on improvements in operating profit due to cost reduction effects, as well as a review of net financial costs in light of interest rate trends and the increase in working capital, the Company is revising operating profit, ordinary profit, and profit attributable to owners of parent for the full fiscal year ending March 2027, as stated above.

Yamazen Corporation revised consolidated earnings guidance for the six months from April 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025 and fiscal year April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. For the six months, the company expected net sales to be JPY 255,000 million compared to previously expected net sales of JPY 255,000 million, operating profit of JPY 5,000 million compared to previously expected operating profit of JPY 4,000 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 3,900 million compared to JPY 3,200 million previously expected and profit per share of JPY 45.80 compared to previously expected profit per share of JPY 37.58. Regarding the consolidated financial performance for the second quarter (interim) of the fiscal year ending March, 2026, subsequent to the earnings forecast announced on August 8, 2025, we thoroughly reviewed various controllable measures contributing to the improvement of management efficiency, such as optimizing transaction details, price negotiations, and the content of planned sales promotion activities, in order to reduce selling, general and administrative expenses against the various costs assumed at the time of the announcement. Additionally, we revised the estimate for corporate income taxes. As a result, operating income, ordinary income, and net income attributable to owners of the parent for the interim period are expected to exceed the previously announced forecasts. Therefore, we are revising the consolidated earnings forecasts for the second quarter (interim) of the fiscal year ending March, 2026, as stated above. For the year, the company expected net sales to be JPY 530,000 million compared to previously expected net sales of JPY 530,000 million, operating profit of JPY 10,000 million compared to previously expected operating profit of JPY 9,000 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 7,150 million compared to JPY 7,000 million previously expected and profit per share of JPY 84.07 compared to previously expected profit per share of JPY 82.31. Regarding the consolidated earnings forecasts for the full fiscal year ending March, 2026, we will keep the previously announced sales figures unchanged at this time, as it is still necessary to carefully assess market trends and changes in the external environment from the third quarter onwards. Operating income, ordinary income, and net income attributable to owners of the parent are expected to exceed the previously announced forecasts due to the cost reduction effects up to the second quarter (interim), the postponement of extraordinary income originally anticipated from the third quarter onwards, and the revision of the estimate for corporate income taxes. Therefore, we are revising the consolidated earnings forecasts for the full fiscal year ending March, 2026, as stated above.
