As part of consideration, ¥110 billion is paid towards assets of Home appliance business of Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. Nojima Corporation, through a wholly-owned special purpose company , is acquiring an 80.1% majority stake in a newly established entity, "NewCo," from Hitachi Global Life Solutions, Inc. This NewCo will consolidate Hitachi GLS's domestic home appliance business, which is transferred via an absorption-type company split, and also the overseas home appliance business handled by Arçelik Hitachi Home Appliances B.V. Hitachi GLS first agreed to acquire the remaining 60% equity interest in AHHA from Arçelik A.S., and the rights and duties for this acquisition will be transferred to NewCo, making NewCo the 100% owner of AHHA and thus consolidating all home appliance operations. The expected completion of the transaction is May 1, 2027 to May 31, 2027.

"There is a possibility of spending JPY 200 billion to JPY 300 billion" per deal, President Hiroshi Nojima, 75, said in a recent interview. The company is known for its aggressive M&A activities. Its largest deal is the JPY 85.4-billion purchase of mobile phone distributor Conexio Corp. in 2023. Other acquired companies include internet business Nifty Corp. and personal computer maker Vaio Corp. The president said that potential acquisition targets are companies that can generate synergies with digital products such as home appliances and mobile phones.
