The technology enables automated driving applications to be deployed across fleets of vehicles, an advancement that helped shape the foundation of today's automated vehicles. The complaints allege that certain automated driving suites and vehicle software stacks incorporate features covered by Perrone Robotics' patents. Perrone Robotics is represented by leading national litigation firm Susman Godfrey LLP, including Shawn Blackburn, Sy Polky, Hunter Vance, Larry Liu, Sarah Pike, and Whitney Wester. Perrone Robotics continues to advance and deploy its autonomous vehicle technologies globally. Intertrend Communications announced the fourth and final installment of Toyota's award-winning anime series titled "GRIP, A Toyota Movie," premiering November 5, 2025. Directed by Yoriaki Mochizuki (Harley Quinn, Final Space, Kite Man: Hell Yeah!), the nearly ten-minute short film marks the final chapter of Toyota's GRIP series and the brand's first-ever anime short film. The original content franchise has captured audiences across the globe with its fusion of anime artistry, driving passion, and emotional storytelling. Originally created by Intertrend alongside Executive Producer Frank Mele, the content series is a high-octane anime adventure that combines heart-pounding action and a battle between the human spirit and computer control. Since its debut early last year, Toyota's GRIP franchise has earned critical acclaim and industry recognition for creative excellence and audience engagement. For three seasons, Toyota has carved its own lane in anime through GRIP--a pioneering campaign created by Intertrend Communications that reimagined how an automotive brand could engage emerging demographics and fandom communities. Through a 360-degree activation strategy spanning programmatic out-of-home takeovers, pop-culture events like Anime Impulse Universe and Formula Drift, and custom partnerships with Spotify and Japanese girl group ATARASHII GAKKO!, the GRIP campaign has cemented Toyota's position as a cultural innovator. Short Film Synopsis: Set in a near-future world dominated by AI-powered self-driving cars, "GRIP, A Toyota movie" follows a team of passionate drivers as they fight to preserve humanity's love for driving against a man determined to erase it forever. Amid the battle, a son seeks to reconnect with his father, a daughter rekindles a lost bond, and a forgotten moment is rediscovered--reminding viewers that it's human connection, not technology, that truly drives forward. The campaign has generated more than 300 million impressions, driving double-digit lifts in brand perception among key Gen Z and multicultural audiences. These results have reinforced Toyota's position as a brand that not only drives innovation on the road but also in the cultural and creative spaces that inspire the next generation of drivers.

Harvia Plc and Toyota Motor Corporation teamed up to produce a concept model for what is believed to be the world's first hydrogen-powered sauna (as of this writing, according to the investigations of Harvia and Toyota). The collaboration represents a step toward a more sustainable future for saunas by combining Harvia's sauna expertise with Toyota's hydrogen combustion technology. The two companies will introduce the hydrogen sauna concept at two upcoming events in Jyvaskyla, Finland. These demonstrations aim to explore new uses for hydrogen and contribute to carbon neutrality. The hydrogen sauna concept will be presented at the "World Sauna Forum" (June 4-5, 2025) and during part of "Rally Finland" (July 31-August 2, 2025) in Jyvaskyl a. By applying hydrogen to sauna heaters, the system generates only steam and warm air, emitting no CO2 during use. This offers an attractive alternative to conventional heating methods. The concept model aims to capture the essence of traditional smoke sauna, known for their gentle and soothing heat. The hydrogen combustion heater channels flames and warm air through sauna stones, heating them evenly from all sides. This process envelops the space in a soft warmth and produces the pleasant steam, or loyly, when water is poured on the stones. Harvia, a global leader in sauna and spa experiences, is committed to advancing well-being through sustainable and innovative solutions. The company integrates environmental responsibility across its operations - from product development and manufacturing to energy efficiency and supply chain management - continuously seeking ways to minimize environmental impact while delivering high-quality wellness experiences worldwide. Toyota views hydrogen as an important fuel in pursuit of carbon neutrality and has been promoting various initiatives in the areas of "Create, Transport, Store, and Use" hydrogen in collaborating with partners across various industries. Moving forward, Toyota will continue to accelerate the efforts to further promote hydrogen utilization towards realizing a hydrogen society.

For 2026, the Toyota sports car lineup is getting brighter with the GR86 Yuzu Edition. This vibrant exterior color is a nod to a memorable special edition of GR86's predecessor, the Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0. Based on the GR86 Premium grade, the special edition will feature 18-inch matte-black wheels and other stunning black accents throughout the vehicle. On the inside, the Yuzu edition features a black interior with yellow accents. Customers will find black Ultrasuede®? - trimmed sport seats with yellow perforation and yellow stopping on the steering wheel, parking brake handle, and door trim. Brembo®? Brakes improve stopping power and SACHS Dampers provide additional stability while preserving GR86's trademark playfulness. Customers can customize their vehicle by adding additional accessories like a cat-back exhaust with GR logoed silver-colored tips, and a body kit to the Yuzu edition for even more self-expression. For the 2026 model year, the GR86 will be available in three grades - GR86, GR86 Premium and the GR86 Yuzu edition. All grades will offer a choice of a six-speed manual or automatic transmission and will be powered by a 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder boxer engine generating 228 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft of torque. The GR86 will arrive at Toyota dealerships in the Fall of 2025. There will only be 860 Yuzu editions assembled for the North American market for 2026. Toyota will share Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price and specs for all grades later this year. Each GR vehicle is designed and engineered with a precise attention to detail and unique driving character. The GR86 is a sports car that focuses on performance and balance. Its compact dimensions and responsive chassis make it feel nimble on both tight corners and open roads, delivering an engaging driving experience that emphasizes fun over outright power. Last year, the GAZOO Racing engineering team made updates to tuning, providing an even more enjoyable ride. Some of the updates included revised throttle mapping to increase the ease of "blipping," and additional engine torque control to provide a more direct throttle response and linearity to improve ease of control at all speeds. All of these updates will be carried over to the 2026 models along with the Performance Package available on the GR86 and GR86 Premium grades that include Brembo®? Brake and SACHSDampers. The Performance Package is standard on the GR86 Yuzuedition. The SACHS Dampers are filled with high-pressure nitrogen and oil and are designed toorb vibrations across a wide range of speeds, maximize ground contact, and support firm, stable steering, while also balancing road feedback and ride comfort. The red-painted Brembo 4-piston front and 2-piston rear brake calipers clamp down on smooth surfaced 12.8 x 1.3-in front rotors, with 12.4 x .79-in. rotors in thear. The dampers and brakes complement the GR86's chassis, which is known for its taut, agile feel. Crafted from a combination of high-strength steel, hot-stamped steel, and aluminum, each material in the frame is strategically placed to bring drivers a balance of roll and pitch that helps maximize control. Up front, it uses diagonal cross members and high-strength fasteners to join the front suspension and frame together. At the rear, a fullring structure and high-strength fasteners connect the frame and suspension mounts. For additional reinforcement, structural adhesive has been added throughout the underbody. Altogether these enhancements create a cohesive, connected frame. All GR86 models pack in modern engineering, tech, and convenience - while sticking to its lightweight sports car roots. Weighing from a combination of high- strength, and SACHS Damper's brand brand brand's brand's brand brand's brand's brand's brand is expected to be available in 2026.
