Asahi Diamond Industrial Co., Ltd. announced at a Board of Directors meeting held on August 7, 2026, a resolution was passed to introduce a shareholder benefits program, as detailed below. Under the Company's new "Medium-Term Management Plan 2030" (covering the fiscal years ending March 2027 through March 2031), the Company aim to improve capital efficiency and corporate value while ensuring financial stability. As a general principle, the Company will pay a progressive dividend of JPY 34 or more per share, and the Company has set a target total payout ratio of 100% over a five-year cumulative period. The Company have decided to introduce a shareholder benefits program to express the Company's deep gratitude for the ongoing support of our shareholders, to raise awareness of the Company's stock, and to encourage more shareholders to hold the Company's stock over the medium to long term. Eligible Shareholders; Shareholder benefits will be provided twice a year. Twice a year, as of the end of September and the end of March (record dates), the program is available to shareholders listed or recorded in the Company's shareholder registry who have continuously held three trading units (300 shares) or more of the Company's stock for at least one year. As a special exception for the first round, eligible shareholders as of the end of March 2027 (record date) will be those who have continuously held shares from the end of September 2026 through the end of March 2027. In terms of profits, in addition to the increase in net sales, earnings are expected to improve due to higher factory utilization rates and the recognition of foreign exchange gains resulting from the weak yen, leading to results that are expected to exceed the previously announced forecast.
