Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co., Ltd. revised consolidated earnings guidance for the first half ending September 30, 2026 and full fiscal year ending March 31, 2027. For the first half, the company expected net sales of JPY 85,000 million; Operating profit of JPY 9,000 million; Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 4,500 million; and Basic earnings per share of JPY 324.82 as compared to previous guidance of net sales of JPY 80,000 million; Operating profit of JPY 6,000 million; Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 3,500 million; and Basic earnings per share of JPY 252.64. For the full year, the company expected net sales of JPY 174,000 million; Operating profit of JPY 16,000 million; Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 9,000 million; and Basic earnings per share of JPY 649.65 as compared to previous guidance of net sales of JPY 169,000 million; Operating profit of JPY 13,000 million; Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 8,000 million; and Basic earnings per share of JPY 577.46. Reason for Revision: The stainless and high nickel alloy industry is showing a recovery trend, primarily in semiconductor-related demand. In the Group's strategic field of high-performance alloys as well, demand continues to expand in the semiconductor-related and oil and gas-related fields. Further, with regard to profits, in addition to an increase in sales volume, gains from inventory valuation resulting from higher raw material prices have also expanded, and earnings are trending above the initially projected levels. In light of the above assessment of the situation, the Company revises its financial results forecast for the six months ending September 30, 2026. For the second half of the fiscal year, excluding the impact of inventory valuation gains and losses, the Company expects an improvement in earnings broadly similar to the previous forecast, relative to the revised first-half outlook. For this reason, the full-year financial results forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027 has been revised to reflect only the upward revision to the first-half forecast, with no changes made to the second-half forecast.

Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co., Ltd. revised consolidated earnings guidance for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. For the full year, the company revised, net sales of JPY 148,000 million, Operating profit of JPY 11,000 million, Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 7,000 million and Basic earnings per share of JPY 504.34 compared to net sales of JPY 160,000 million, Operating profit of JPY 14,000 million, Profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 9,000 million and Basic earnings per share of JPY 648.90 previous guidance. In the stainless and high nickel alloy industry, revenue recovery has been delayed mainly due to the slow recovery of demand in the domestic market caused by delays to projects in the construction-related matters and the influx of low-cost imported materials against the backdrop of production exceeding demand in the East Asia region. Concerning the Group's strategic field of high-performance alloys, while orders remain steady in areas such as for semiconductor production-related fields, revenue continues to stagnate mainly due to delays in the materialization of large- and medium-scale projects in the environment & energy field, and fiercer competition from rival companies. In light of the above assessment of the situation, the Company revises its previously announced full-year consolidated financial results forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026.
