For the period, the company expects net sales of JPY 34,000 million, operating profit of JPY 2,400 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 1,000 million or JPY 41.26 Basic earnings per share against previous guidance of net sales of JPY 34,000 million, operating profit of JPY 1,000 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 150 million or JPY 6.19 Basic earnings per share. For the full-year forecast, the Company anticipates that sales of automotive-related products will remain sluggish, and the Group's sales volume and net sales for the second half are expected to fall below the previously announced forecast. On the profit front, in addition to the increase in profit during the first half of the fiscal year, the profit for the second half is expected to exceed the previously announced forecast due to the full-scale operation of the Vietnamese subsidiary and the impact of cost reduction. Daiichi Kigenso Kagaku Kogyo Co., Ltd. revised consolidated earnings guidance for the six months from April 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025 . For the period, the company expects net sales of JPY 17,100 million, operating profit of JPY 1,090 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 40 million or JPY 1.65 basic earnings per share against previous guidance of net sales of JPY 16,000 million, operating profit of JPY 500 million and profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 75 million or JPY 3.10 basic earnings per share. During the six months ended September 30, 2025, global new vehicle sales in the automotive industry--the Group's principal customer segment--were solid, driven by factors such as advance demand in anticipation of additional U.S. tariffs, and exceeded our forecast. As a result, the Group's sales volume and net sales exceeded our plan. Operating profit is expected to exceed the previously announced forecast, reflecting higher sales volume and cost reduction initiatives. Although foreign exchange rate fluctuations resulted in foreign exchange losses related to foreign currency-denominated loans to our Vietnamese subsidiary and its corresponding borrowings, ordinary profit is expected to exceed the previously announced forecast. Profit attributable to owners of parent is expected to fall short of the previously announced forecast.
